Terms of Service

These terms apply to the free demo and to the managed website service offered by Ulimby ("we", "us") to you, the business owner ("you"). By requesting a demo or paying the setup fee, you accept them.
1. Free demo
- The demo is free and creates no obligation to buy.
- We provide up to two demo versions per business. If neither suits you, we part ways at no cost.
- Content you send us (text, logo, photos) must be yours or used with permission.
2. Prices and payment
- Setup: $199 CAD, one time, payable when you approve your demo.
- Monthly plan: $59 CAD per month, billed monthly in advance.
- Prices exclude applicable taxes (GST/HST/QST), which are added to your invoice.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change.
3. What the monthly plan includes
- A .com or .ca domain name, registered in your name and renewed by us while your plan is active. Other extensions are available at an extra cost, quoted before registration. If you already own a domain, we connect it at no charge.
- Hosting on Cloudflare's global network, SSL certificate and CDN.
- An email forwarding address on your domain (for receiving), forwarded to the inbox you choose. A full mailbox is available at an extra cost.
- Setup of your Google Business Profile and basic local SEO. Google controls its listings and rankings, so we cannot guarantee placement.
- A monthly report with your site's visits and contact clicks.
- Daily backups and 24/7 uptime monitoring.
- Up to 30 minutes of content changes per month (text, photos, prices, hours). Unused minutes do not carry over.
- Support by WhatsApp and email.
Larger changes, such as new pages or a redesign, are quoted separately before any work begins. We aim to publish your site within 24 hours of receiving your approved information; this is a target, not a guarantee.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and content you have the right to use.
- Do not use the website for illegal, misleading or harmful content.
- If you own your domain name, keep its registration active and give us the access needed to connect it.
5. Ownership
- You own your business content: text, logo, photos and your domain name.
- The website design and code are provided under licence for as long as your plan is active.
6. Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time by writing to hello@ulimby.com. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- Your site stays online until the end of the month already paid, then is taken offline.
- The setup fee is not refundable once your site has been published.
- On request, we return your content (text, logo, photos) and help you point your domain elsewhere. Domain renewals after cancellation are your responsibility.
- We may suspend the service if an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, after notifying you.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep your site online and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice to clients. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
