Privacy Policy

Ulimby ("we", "us") builds and manages websites for small businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What we collect

• Demo request form: business name, industry, city and province, services, years in business, type of clients, what makes you different, WhatsApp or phone number, email, and optionally your logo, photos and brand colour.
• Conversations: messages you exchange with us by WhatsApp or email.
• Clients only: billing details needed to invoice you. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address and browser information automatically processed by our hosting provider to deliver this website.

Why we use it

• To build your free demo and send it to you by WhatsApp or email.
• To follow up about your demo (at most two versions, as described in our Terms).
• If you become a client: to build, publish, host and update your website, bill you and provide support.
• To keep this website secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Consent

We collect your information with your consent, given when you submit the demo form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@ulimby.com; we will then stop contacting you and delete your demo information, unless we must keep it by law.

Service providers and storage outside Quebec and Canada

We use the following providers. Some store or process information outside Quebec and Canada:

• Tally (Belgium, EU): hosts our demo request form and its submissions.
• Cloudflare (United States, global network): hosts this website and our clients' websites, and registers clients' domain names. To register a domain in your name, your name and contact details are shared with the domain registry, as required.
• WhatsApp / Meta (United States): messaging with you.
• Clients only: our payment processor and messaging provider, once connected.

Information stored outside Quebec may be subject to the laws of those places. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to Canadian law.

How long we keep it

• Demo requests that do not become clients: deleted 12 months after our last contact, or sooner on request.
• Clients: for as long as we provide the service, then as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally 6 years for billing records).

Security

Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to serve you. Our providers use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete it, or withdraw your consent;
• receive the information you provided in a structured, commonly used format.

Write to hello@ulimby.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canadaor, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded demo form may use cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work.
